Sailors Institute, Barmouth.
Rest and quiet relaxation, even on the busiest days. It’s a reading room and library, and although it’s open to the public there’s never anyone in it. The perfect place to sit and contemplate the sea from a place of silent safety - a rare luxury when sailing. If you visit, do drop something in the donation box.
